Car Park Facility Alterations, Upper Hundreds Car Park, Aylesbury, Bucks
Works carried out for Aylesbury Vale District Council. Works consisted of the construction of a new Shopmobility facility to lower level of existing car park: refurbishment and new facilities at upper level with new public entrance. The works were carried out at Upper Hundreds Car Park, Aylesbury. The Car Park and staffing areas remained open and operating at all times during the project. The second phase, at upper level, followed with the existing female public toilets being demolished to facilitate construction of a new public walkway/entrance. New public female toilets were then constructed.
The kiosk, which remained manned and operating during all the construction works, was extended with block work external walls to accommodate a private office and staff ladies toilet. The finishes to the new passageway are ceramic tiles with one wall serviced to allow installation of pay machines. A new security shutter is also fitted at the new public entrance.
